Everyday Eats

Whenever we travel Dave and I end up spending loads of time talking and eating and watching local baristas do their thing. Like in Sydney, where we recently fell in love with The Commons in Darlinghurst, and Kawa in Surry Hills. Both are great examples of understated, relaxing but thoughtfully designed cafes, and they seem to have that rustic Aussie feel but in a warm Sydney style, which is definitely different to the cosy cool places you find everywhere in Melbourne. The Commons had the BEST native flower arrangements I have ever seen.
